Ahhh, the joys of being connected all day, everyday, everywhere! So I am taking the chance to blog at 10000m!
Right now my 7th graders are just finishing their morning lesson - hope you kids are talking good care of the substitue teacher!
This flight to Sochi is filled with Olympians - mainly the Norwegian Hockey team but there are some other athletes, support staff, coaches and fans as well. I am in seat 17a and in 17b is none other than Björn Dahle, the Norwegian cross-country skiing ledgend. Björn (ok we're not quite on a first name basis but anyway...) won 8 Olympic Golds and 4 Olympic silvers during his career which makes him the Olympian with most Winter Olympic medals! He is heading to Sochi to help the Olso bid for the 2022 Olympics. We talked for while and he is a really nice man, very humble - not bad company for the 31/2hour flight!
